What Vallecas is like
It’s a down-to-earth, lively neighbourhood with a strong street life: traditional bars, markets, local shops and Avenida de la Albufera running through it. It’s home to Rayo Vallecano, who play at the Estadio de Vallecas, and to Cerro del Tío Pío park, with some of the best sunset views over Madrid.
