Aurora Stays by Charming is a building of sixteen one-bedroom apartments on Calle del Arroyo Opañel, in Carabanchel. Every apartment has a fitted kitchen and living room, and some have a private terrace; there are options for two, with twin beds, and one adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

Staying in Carabanchel
Carabanchel is one of Madrid’s liveliest neighbourhoods: markets, long-standing local shops, terraces and a cultural scene that grows every year. Aurora Stays sits between Plaza Elíptica (lines 6 and 11), about 400 metres away, and Opañel (line 6), about 550 metres, so you’re in the centre in around 25 minutes without needing the car.
Madrid Río, the big riverside park along the Manzanares, is about an 18-minute walk away, and Matadero, one of the city’s most interesting cultural centres, about 30 minutes. And if you’re going to a concert at Palacio Vistalegre, it’s in the same district.

What do I need to do before I arrive?
Complete the online guest registration, which is required by Spanish law. Once it’s done, we’ll send you your arrival instructions and entry code.
What time can I check in and out?
Check-in is from 15:00 until midnight. If you’ll be arriving later, let us know and we’ll sort it out. Check-out is by 11:00, except at Calma Rooms and Arturo Soria Stays, where it’s 12:00. You’ll also see it in your booking.
Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out? (Smart Lockers)
Yes, in buildings with Smart Lockers: free luggage lockers you book before you arrive. You can use them from 11:00 on arrival day until 22:00 on departure day. They’re available at Ópera Stays, Calma Rooms, The Madrid Studios, Cuatro Caminos Apartments and Vista Alegre Stays. For other places, just ask us.
What’s included?
Bed linen, towels, toiletries and wifi. Apartments and studios also have a fitted kitchen. Rooms at Ópera Stays, Calma Rooms and Square Rooms have a private bathroom; at Urban Rooms Madrid Ventas bathrooms are shared.
