Where IFEMA is and how to get there
IFEMA Madrid is in Campo de las Naciones, in the north-east of the city, very close to the airport. The metro station is Feria de Madrid, on line 8, the same line that links Nuevos Ministerios with the airport: from terminals 1, 2 and 3 it’s just one stop. By car, take the M-40 or M-11; there’s parking at the venue.
The best areas to stay
Campo de las Naciones: right next to the venue, with large hotels. The most convenient, but prices soar during trade fair weeks and it fills up early.
Hortaleza and Ciudad Lineal: quiet neighbourhoods a few minutes away by car or with line 8 close by. More space and better prices.
Airport area: perfect if you’re flying in or out on the day of the fair.
City centre: if you want to combine the fair with the city. From Nuevos Ministerios, line 8 takes you straight to IFEMA.
Hotel or alternative?
The hotels in Campo de las Naciones are the classic choice, but during big fairs like FITUR, ARCO or Fruit Attraction, the major international fresh produce fair, their prices climb steeply. A room with a private bathroom or a studio in a nearby neighbourhood gives you what you need (rest, wifi and somewhere to work) for much less. And if a team is coming, several apartments in the same building are cheaper and keep you together.

Book as soon as the dates are out: for big fairs, nearby places fill up months ahead. If you’re travelling for work, ask for an invoice in your company’s name when you book. If a team is coming, ask us: we can host you in several units in the same building, with one contact person. And if your last day at the fair is also check-out day, ask us about check-out: with parking you can leave your bags in the car, and in buildings with Smart Lockers, in a locker.
