Calma Rooms by Charming
Calma Rooms by Charming is a building of six double rooms on Calle de Alcántara, in the heart of the Salamanca district. Every room has a private bathroom, a Nespresso machine, a microwave and a kettle, so you can have breakfast in your own time without leaving your room. One room is adapted for guests with reduced mobility.
What makes Calma different are its shared spaces: a coffee corner, a coworking area, a relaxation corner and a laundry with washers and dryers. And with Smart Lockers you can leave your luggage for free if you arrive early or leave late.

Staying in the Salamanca district
The Salamanca district is one of Madrid’s most elegant and peaceful areas: wide streets, grand buildings and some of the city’s best shops, restaurants and food markets. Calma Rooms is in its quieter residential part, steps from Diego de León (lines 4, 5 and 6) and Lista (line 4) metro stations, with quick connections to the centre, Gran Vía and Nuevos Ministerios.
Coming for a concert? You’re in luck: the Movistar Arena, home to many of Madrid’s biggest concerts and events, and the Las Ventas bullring are both about a 15-minute walk away. Afterwards you can walk back without waiting for the metro or a taxi.

What do I need to do before I arrive?
Complete the online guest registration, which is required by Spanish law. Once it’s done, we’ll send you your arrival instructions and entry code.
What time can I check in and out?
Check-in is from 15:00 until midnight. If you’ll be arriving later, let us know and we’ll sort it out. Check-out is by 11:00, except at Calma Rooms and Arturo Soria Stays, where it’s 12:00. You’ll also see it in your booking.
What’s included?
Bed linen, towels, toiletries and wifi. Apartments and studios also have a fitted kitchen. Rooms at Ópera Stays, Calma Rooms and Square Rooms have a private bathroom; at Urban Rooms Madrid Ventas bathrooms are shared.
